Kristen Santesson
Kristen has her B.S. Degree in Early Childhood Education and has been working in the Early Childhood profession for over 10 years. Kristen is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Early Childhood with a concentration in social emotional learning and will continue her studies to obtain her Infant/Toddler Mental Health Certificate. Kristen has taught Pre-K, Kindergarten and First Grade in public education. Kristen is also a Mentor with the New Mexico Early Childhood Mentor Network Program which allows for Fundamentals to host practicum students partaking in Early Childhood studies. Kristen also participates in Early Childhood Committees within San Juan County including Children’s Onward, San Juan Early Childhood Coalition, and SEL4NM. Kristen has always had a passion for teaching our youngest learners and enjoys the spontaneity that comes in working with tiny humans.
Michelle Baer
Michelle has a M.S. Degree in Educational Technology and holds a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education with a Kindergarten Endorsement. Michelle has taught Early Five's, Kindergarten and First Grade over her 22-year teaching career. Michelle enjoys entertaining her granddaughters and crafting. Michelle works behind the scenes to assist with all of Fundamentals daily operations.
Jordanne Thomas
Jordanne has her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education and has worked in Early Childhood for 4 years. Jordanne began her career as a substitute teacher, full time teacher, and atelierista here at Fundamentals. Jordanne has a natural talent for art and the creative process our philosophy engages in. Jordanne enjoys the natural wonders and possibilities that are created through the Reggio Inspiration and enjoys the humor our tiny humans bring to her days.
